I would have the Japanese ahead of both Americans; their program was the most complex of the 3 teams and they exhibited the most joy as well.

They were in the free skate. Alexa and Brandon finish higher due to their SP lead.

Aw, Alexa's letting that emotion out in the KnC. What a roller coaster the last couple months have been.

Those throw jumps from the second American pairs were spectacular. Almost like Bruno and Aljona height.

For such a new pair I am so pleased for Alexa & Brandon. Not perfect, but very very good. They lived up to their vision of the music and made me enjoy it weird cuts and all. I am very proud of my US teams no matter where they finish. If they both can do this at Worlds then maybe I can dream of 3 spots.

Mistake on opening jump, but otherwise strong skate. He fistpumps

The salchow didn't happen for Cheng of course (sigh) but still a wonderful skate

Other than the salchow that was amazing. I didn't love the music but the skating was so beautiful. They relate beautifully to each other. They're so polished and sophisticated. I love the smoothness of their transitions. Give them all the PCS!
