He's (probably) just hanging out/training with his BFF Nikolaj, I doubt he's considering a country switch considering he has been very vocal in his IG about CANFund and raising money to support that program and competed at Regionals this year. However, more surprising things have happened. For whatever reason, Circelli is apparently doing a domestic event in Italy next week
That's interesting. He withdrew from Ontario November sectionals two weeks ago. Skate Canada Challenge entries should be out next week (last Friday was the final day for Ontario/Quebec/Alberta skaters to finalize their entries, today is for everyone else), so it'll be interesting to see if there's something more to this when those come out.For whatever reason, Circelli is apparently doing a domestic event in Italy next week
If he was changing countries, wouldn't Great Britain be better? Italy has strong leading men. That's interesting. He withdrew from Ontario November sectionals two weeks ago. Unless I'm reading it wrong, only two of the singles women at Warsaw got the SP TES for Worlds. So they might have medalled but still not achieved what we are hoping for them.If Kaiya or Justine were sent to Warsaw, going by scores, they probably would have been in the fight to medal again. And after Kaiya's skate at SCI it is obvious she needs to get out to these events more to get her nerves under control. It would be nice to see how she has 'grown' after her SCI skate.
I don't know if he isIf he was changing countries, wouldn't Great Britain be better? Italy has strong leading men.
Great Britain would probably be the better option for championship opportunities with the depth in Italy. After watching the Pairs Free at Espoo this morning, I was quite shocked at the skate of Brooke & Benjamin. Not to be a downer, but will they make 3rd at our Nationals? After such a successful season last year…I know we are not supposed to compare results from one event to the next but going by the scores our top Pairs and Dancers have been getting so far, is going to make for an interesting Nationals. There just may be some upsets - esp in Dance.
They probably won't. And they are lucky Nic and Emma have moved on.After watching the Pairs Free at Espoo this morning, I was quite shocked at the skate of Brooke & Benjamin. Not to be a downer, but will they make 3rd at our Nationals? After such a successful season last year…
Good idea. Their SP was not bad. The LP, as they came back to the old one very recently, it's normal they would make mistakes.. it's just that the lift mistake was super scary.Ben posted that they'll be at Challenge in two weeks. Hopefully they'll have a better competition there![]()
Nick and Emma also came to my mind today. As in, what if they hadn’t moved on…They probably won't. And they are lucky Nic and Emma have moved on.
Not an expert at all on social media so there may be more information elsewhere, but this post from October 25, 2023 says Noah had double knee surgery. Hope he recovers well and they return to competition.Does anyone know what’s up with the junior ice dance team Lewis/Macmillan? I thought they had a very promising start on the junior Grand Prix circuit last year but haven’t seen them compete at all this year?
