2023-24 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 6 - Moscow

I'm back! It's getting a little hot, isn't it? Are we going for the gold?

This is much more like it from Masha !:cheer::cheer2:
I dont know if it will be enough for qualification tho:console:
Unless she wins...

However, a lot still depends on how many girls who didn't participate in the series will be allowed to take part in JNats. Maybe Zhilina, Rubtsova and Gorbacheva? Maybe none of them?

Just like last season, Gordeeva bombs her first stage and then skates well in her next stage.
She always struggles at the 1st half of the season and then tends to get it together as the second half of the season approaches, she has been like this for 3 seasons now. its not sustainable if she wants to get to JGP assignments in the future when Russians are allowed back she needs to be able to be in shape at the beginning of the season as well.

I know. And in this case, it wouldn't be very fair if she was allowed to perform instead of the girls who had to get in shape earlier for the stages.

Why dont they just add on the national team girls and let there be over 18 competitors? Would make it a super event.

Sorry to see Ekaterina go, but she turned out to be in a strong warm up, it's a great experience
