2023-24 Russian Grand Prix - Stage 6 - Moscow

Loginov is another national team skater who won't make it to Nats unfortunately.
I recall that he didn't even show clean programs at the domestic St. Petersburg competitions this season...
It's really quite sad.

I've been waiting for this final group and getting really nervous.

Redemption skate for Nikita!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

The lion cub killed all! He's so good!
I'm waiting for Vanya to get closer to the strongest duo and they can compete!

My GS side broke down when Lev started skating. But it was a good sign!
Molodyets!!!!! :yahoo:
Congrats to Vanya and Redemption skater Nikita :clap::clap:

Well, in the middle of the table everything does when I wanted, with a small and frustrating exception (Loginov, well, why, why!). The podium is beautiful, I'm satisfied

I watched the last 6 for the girls I'm happy for Agata this was close to her maximum. Maybe the best performance I have seen from her no errors at all. It will be always tough for her without ultra-c but hopefully she can continue until seniors I think this is when it will be much easier for her. Her artistry will only improve over the next few years it is already at a relatively high level.

The height Prineva had on that first 4Lz was incredible. She kind of ran out of steam after that, if she can develop her stamina she will be a big threat to anyone.

So, if Zhilina, Titova, Rubstova and a senior like Sadkova or Agaeva are invited, that means that the last four qualified girls are out?
I would really hope not, that would be exceedingly unfair. I was thinking they should just throw those girls in by adding another warmup group.

Subject to change. The final entries are approved by the coaching council.

Skaters who qualified to senior nationals might be invited to junior nationals as well (like Gorbacheva last year). Skaters who are on the main nationals team and couldn't take part in the series due to health reasons might be invited (Zhilina and Rubtsova).

Gordeeva wouldn't make it even if she was 2nd, Labutina has a higher total.

That's great Petrova at the Channel 1 Cup. Bazylyuk and Dvoeglazova will be a great contest. This is going to be a lot closer between these two than I thought it would be a month ago. Well done to the Russian fed for organising this event at short notice. They do a great job to promote the sport and give people what they want to see.

I don't think it's fair to have seniors invited when they have been good enough to win medals at senior GP stages.

Junior Men qualification

S1 Timofei Shelkovnikov
S2 Andrei Kotsin
S3 Aleksandr Chmil

Subject to change. The final entries are approved by the coaching council.

Nikita Sarnovskiy will like be added if he recovers in time for Junior Nationals.
Dmitry Shelkovnikov also may be added if he miss both stages due to injury. He is in the main list of the national team.
It's a pity that his brother is only the first reserve. On the other hand, this is a huge progress for Timofey, and his chances are not zero after all.
