Skaters look really tall cause they're always in skates and they're slim. When you see them with fans in public though you can see the true relative height.

One reason is the skates - They add a bit of height, another the general body proportions of many skaters, and the third that usually there is no direct comparison as skaters are on their own on the ice (apart from pairs and Ice Dance, but pairs women almost always are tiny anyway).

Dude, they gave Valieva 38.3... 38.3!! For missing her choreo queues and wobbling in StSq!! Poor Yametova, and presumably Muravieva. I cant believe it I dont know how I'm the only one commenting on this. I thought 36 was the absolute maximum judges could give with ultimate audacity... 38.3!?!?

Oo a bit of tough skate for Ksenia! Her dress is really pretty though. Although the piano at the end made me think of this kids show here in Australia called Play School .
