It doesnt really mean much. Girls flop training and masterclass the skate all the time and vice versa. Its probably even more common than the practice being actually indicative of the performance.

Really sad for Matvei, he was already off yesterday emotionally despite a good performance and today, it translated into his skating But he classified both for Nats and GP Final, so I hope whatever he is going through is solved and he comes back stronger! He is a graceful and beautiful skater, so hopefully he’ll be able to show that with clean skates.

On the other side of the coin, I’m glad Mark medalled, he always seems like a nice unassuming guy and was quite happy, so good for him!
