Phew! I got back to the Seniors just in time. The stream reset just as the last skater was waiting for her scores.

Unsurprisingly, Stefanie PESENDORFER (AUT) leads. It is by a massive margin of 11.42 points, and every bit of it is deserved. She was undoubtedly the class of the field.

The surprise was that her fellow skater from Upper Austria, Jasmin ELSEBAIE, was in 2nd position. I have to admit, I can't remember seeing her before. I looked her up, and it looks like this is her first season in Seniors. But, even looking at her Junior or Novice results, she didn't really get the sort of results that would have put her on my radar.

So, I am fascinated to see how she gets on in the Free tomorrow.

The girl I was expecting to be 2nd, Antonina DUBININA (SRB), was in 3rd. But, she was only 1.46 points behind Elsebaie.

The two Kazakh girls are also very close to each other. Zlata RYAZANOVA in 4th is 2.58 points ahead of Russalina SHAKROVA in 5th.

So, although Pasendorfer is rather lonely out front, there are going to be two very exciting battles in the Free tomorrow!

Am I going mad, or have I seen the costume worn by the final skater, from Armenia, before? It looks very familiar.

Anyway, here is the boy.

He looks very dashing. Bet you it's a "Pirates Of The Caribbean" programme.

Earlier on during the girls competition, we saw a (older) young girl come onto the ice to help one of the skaters gather up her gifts. And as they were coming off the ice, they were having a good natter with each other.

Well, after the boy got his scores, this girl joined him on the sofa, and they got their photos taken. I take it this girl is his sister. Because they certainly look like each other.

EDIT: I haven't had time to check the archived livestream, but I bet this is the girl that finished 8th in Basic Novice yesterday. Because she and the Chicks boy have the same surname and belong to the same club.​

For that matter, the girl taking the photos looked like them too. She looked too young to be their mother, so maybe an older sister. Or a young auntie.

A bit of advice to the Latvian girl that started at #3. If you are going to do an "Annie" programme, you need to wear a red wig and a basic red dress. A pretty peach coloured dress and matching gloves just doesn't fit the theme.

Unfortunately, she fell.

While she was waiting for her scores, I heard crying and I thought "Oh no. Don't cry. It wasn't that bad".

But, it was actually a baby in the audience!

She goes into 3rd position. It may be last position at the moment, but there are a lot of skaters still to come.

What?! A cartwheel in a Cubs level programme?!

You should have heard the gasps of the audience! They were not expecting that either.

Skater #5 is certainly making the most of competing in an international competition in her home country!

Unfortunately, she fell on the element after the cartwheel. And then had another as well.

Zahra and another coach are sitting with her. And it took two girls to carry in all the cuddly toys she received, and they deposited them on top of her, totally burying her!

I take it they are all friends with each other.

She goes into 3rd position.

The first skater in Group 2 started, and we got 2 words into the second line of "Hallelujah" when the stream died.

EDIT: It came back just as she was coming off the ice. So we completely missed her!

She and her coaches look very happy, though. So, I take it she went well.

Skater #7 goes into 3rd position.

Looks like the graphics aren't working now.

I did a double-take when I saw the name of the Israeli girl that skated at #11.

Maria SHIFRIN.

When you get up early to watch skating at 5am, that is close enough to Mikaela SHIFFRIN to get your attention!

She's gone into the lead by 1.04 points.

Looks like we have a withdrawal from the girl from Singapore that was due to start at #12.

Yep, here come the next group of skaters onto the ice to do their Warm-Up. 5 girls and 1 boy.

And you could say that he is the first of 3 boys going back-to-back, as the 2 Advanced Novice boys are next to skate. But, there is a resurfacing in between the two levels.
