It's been a kind of day (not in the overscored kind of way (mostly))

also PJ Kwong shoutout from Mark, she did the in-rink announcing for the 2022 Olympics and also Shanghai Trophy this season and she is amazing her name pronunciations are on point and plus she has the most relaxing voice.

my anxiety cannot handle shaky lifts today. Not a disaster for them today so onwards and upwards, the throws were both nice.

I liked their matching outfits. They're cute, watching them made me smile. It's been a while since I saw a throw 3T in senior Pairs.

Lifts looked far from effortless I thought.

Great jumps and throws, weaker pairs elements... not what we normally see from Chinese pairs teams but I'm sure that they will able to improve thanks to the rich history and quality of pairs elements in China

but ayayayayayayayay that was stressing me out

Well this was awkward from Wang/Zhu, they ended on a wonky dismount from another lift with no speed like 5 seconds after the music indeed. Just like other Chinese pairs they have good throw jumps, but they're very raw - there's though potential here. Also there was pair spin with negative GOE is a rare sight at GP level.

Jeez, I was scared she'd get her hand below his skates in the last lift exit A lot of potential, but not the stamina to get through the FS unscathed at the moment.
