I don't think they are eligible. I don't think they were on the replacement list and they didn't win a challenger this season.

It may not be connected, but I saw something on one of the US skating threads about Grace Hanns collapsing at a competition at Broadmoor. It think it was one of the Summer competitions.

I noticed them training in Natalia M's instagram stories this week so it doesn't seem that injury is the cause.

I am so gutted about RikuRyu, but it's a marathon, not a race. Ryuichi must look after his health.
