Jumps and landings weren't Maddie's friend today. She will probably still be the top Canadian, but there really should be 4 skaters above her (whether there actually will be is a different question...).

Boring is better than ugly (sorry folks, I thought Audrey's dress was hideous and unflattering to such a pretty girl) but we still have Korea and Japan to fly to sparkly flag...

Nice save stylization out of that Loop though And this program is great for her, it will be amazing when she skates it clean.

Love the Spanish flair, energy, and costume. Darn, jumps not happening. Needs to sharpen up some of the movements. Come on Maddie. You're a beautiful skater!!!

I am sorry for Maddie because she does look much improved and more confident. I love that she is ready to fight back already - I look forward to a better skate tomorrow.

Lindsay lost a lot in TES on the combo, they are virtually tied in PCS. In fact, I find myself surprisingly in consensus with the judges - Higher Skating skills score for Lindsay, higher presentation score for Audrey. Though I'd probably give Lindsay the edge on composition too.

I disagree. Lindsay was superior in PCS to Audrey imo. But this it how it goes. Lindsay's UR's tend to make the judges harsh...

I much preferred Audrey. I found Lindsay boring
