We finish the day by staying with the Juniors, but moving from the boys to the girls. And there are a few more girls than boys. 31 of them, arranged in five groups of 5; and then a final group of 6.

I wonder - is Skater #4, Olivia LENGYELOVA (SVK), the sister of the girl that won the Advanced Novice Ladies title earlier, Alica LENGYELOVA (SVK)?

In the Time Schedule PDF's, both are down as just "Slovak Figure Skating Association" where the "Club" is normally listed.

I have opened the stream again in another window, and wound it back to Alica LENGYELOVA's programme from this morning.

From looking at them side-by-side, I still can't reach a conclusion over whether she and Olivia are sisters.

I can tell you something, though. They look about the same age. If they do turn out to be sisters, they might even be twins. I know that sounds strange, what with them competing at different levels. But, just remember the Gjersem twins. For most of their careers, Camilla was a level behind Anne-Line.

Ach! I just realised that Chiara HRISTOVA (BUL) is one of the 4 names that disappeared from the entry list yesterday.

Oh, well. Wee sister got a Bronze Medal in Basic Novice I this morning.

Right, time for Babeth HANSSON OSTERGAARD (DEN).

I wonder if she will have heard about fellow Danish skater Anna-Flora COLMOR JEPSEN winning the corresponding competition at the Volvo Open Cup this morning.

If she has heard, it could either drive her on, or it could put too much pressure on her.

Well, if Anna-Flora's result put any pressure on her, it didn't show. That was a great skate from Babeth!

Mmmm. It seems the Judges weren't as impressed.

Into 6th position out of 15, with a score of 30.67 points.

Anna-Flora scored 44.94 points to finish 4th in her SP at the Volvo Open Cup yesterday. Babeth's score there now would have put her in 24th and last position in Riga.

I know it's different Judges and everything, but I'm pointing it out because of the fight for the Junior Worlds slot.

Wow! Just finished the Junior Ladies, and there is just 0.01 points separating 2nd position, Olivia LENGYELOVA (SVK), and 3rd position, Adela VALLOVA (CZE)

And when you add in that they are less than 3.5 points behind the leader, Julia van DIJK (NED), it is going to make for a very exciting FS tomorrow.

By the way, although I haven't been able to find out if the Lengyelova girls are related, I have been able to find them in a sports database. I have no idea what they were competing in (it was racing of some kind, as the results were given as times), but it revealed that they were from the same village, and the years they were born. Olivia was born in 2008, while Alica was born in 2011.

So, they are definitely not twins!

To finish the event, we stay with the Juniors, but move to the girls. It was due to start an hour ago but, because the livestream and the livescoring were both not working, I decided to wait until we had concrete proof that it was under way. But, since an hour has now passed, I think it's safe to say that it has started already.

Thank you so much. I had to break away from my constant refreshing of the channel page for a few minutes to sort out the next Volvo Open reminder post. And, typically, that is when it finally came on air.

I made a boo-boo. I came back from dinner, watched up to the second resurfacing, and then decided to take a break and watch something else for an hour and a half. And when I came back, the stream had finished broadcasting, and when I pressed play, it came up "Video Unavailable".

There had been a copyright claim slapped on it.

Well, that'll teach me a lesson. Only break away when you absolutely have to! i.e. to eat! Don't break away for anything else!

I caught the 9h+ stream and could watch Daniel's FS until it broke as you mentioned.
But well, I got at least some minutes

The competition does not officially count, but Daniel bested all his 3 scores here.
