I just looked up Whitney Ford
looking at the whole weekend, she's the winner for me in junior ladies. 2 great performances with beautiful smiles.
I really wanted to watch Ana Scepanovic, and based on the judges scores, it seems that she ran a very nice program (in it, of course, an under rotated 3S+fall). originally I would have been interested in 4 other girls besides her from the lost group 5. the exception is Lengyelova, who almost won the comptetition... an expert watching figure skating :D

Lengyelova was actually the one that I was looking forward to seeing. Because she and her sister both came from behind to win their respective categories at Skate Helena, and I wanted to see if Olivia could do the same here. (Alica isn't entered this time).

Who knows, maybe not having her sister here comepting as well is what unsettled her in the SP.

I hope she doesn't get down about not winning overall, and is happy with winning the FS and the šŸ„ˆ Silver Medal.

the competition of disappointed ladies. on the other hand Ema Doboszova can particularly good if she skates on an "it doesn't matter anyway" basis

I remember saying this recently about a Ladies competition, but that was like watching a Men's competition! Chaos!

It said a lot that when we got to the stage where there were 3 left that were still due to skate, the only skaters that had gone clean were the 2 skaters at the bottom of the results table.

Thankfully, Elena AGOSTINELLI (ITA) and Alexandra FEIGIN (BUL) then improved that ratio by skating clean.

But, what happened that Jade HOVINE (BEL) withdrew after being 2nd in the SP? That was a disappointment.

And a great result for Kristina GRIGOROVA (BUL) to climb from 4th in the SP to 2nd overall. Of course, Jade's withdrawal helped. But, she still leapfrogged Elena to claim the šŸ„ˆ Silver Medal.

So, the 4 Bulgarian skaters occupy the top 2 positions, and the bottom 2 positions.

I think I know which they will be concentrating on! ;)

this whole day is chaos for me :) I swear, senior ladies was worth watching because of Natalia Peeva. as if she had come to a wrong competition, but somehow I still liked her. and Agostinelli's skating
unfortunately, my favourites sat and lay on the ice a lot today (in juniors as well). if she tried to skate at all

That was all over the place. But full commitment to the choreo, I still enjoyed the program a lot!

Oh, they're setting up a podium on the ice.

Erm, I've got to go eat. So, I'll pause it.

why did Adam skate Junoirs here, again? He could have won the Men easily.
Is it a kind of Junior training, will he do both WC again this year?

Day 3 marks the start of the Non-ISU part of the event. And we start with the Chicks skaters. 1 boy; followed by 12 younger girls (two groups of 6 girls); followed by 15 older girls (a group of 7 girls, then a group of 8 girls).

The boy is in the same Warm-Up as the first group of girls. There are no resurfacings until all the Chicks are finished, but because it is an hour until they come on, I will do a separate post for the older girls.

Livestream for the first two Chicks competitions is now on air.

Just what you need to get yourself going on a Sunday morning - the theme from "The Magnificient Seven". šŸ¤

I enjoyed this little cowboy the last time I saw him, and I enjoyed watching him again today.

Now for the girls.

Awww. At the start of the Group 2 Warm-Up, we could hear a bunch of kids loudly chanting like you get at football matches.

Couldn't make out if it was for a particular skater. But, it was lovely to hear the support.

It's probably skaters from the same club as somebody skating in this group.

Hey, it might even be skaters that we saw in the first group! (who, by the way, were all Bulgarian. But, I don't know what clubs they were from).

Oh, didn't notice the time. I'm going to have to pause the stream now to go and have my dinner.

Hopefully I will be caught up by the time the next segment starts.
