2023 Tallink Hotels Cup

I´m happy Josefin got the silver after being just off the podium at Nordics last competition!

Really good skate by Niina as well, she will win with a huge score I guess

Hopefully Josefin will get the TES for the worlds during challanger cup. I wish she would have jumped the 3Lz instead 3T in her SP.
And If Niina had shown this skate during the Europeans she would have reached the podium. Looking forward for the next competitions of my both favorites

Due to Gozhva's withdrawal from the girls, there was a slightly longer break. But, we are now back with the chaos category!

A group of 4 boys; then a resurfacing; then another group of 4; and finally a group of 5.

Livestream for the Senior Men's FS is now on air.

I must say, I've never heard of Fedor Chitipakhovian before and while he made a lot of mistakes today, I am pleasantly surprised by his basic jump technique. He gets good height on his jumps and a nice amount of speed and flow out of them. Plus, it's a good sign he's going for the 3A, it wasn't too bad of an attempt either despite being underrotated.

It will be interesting to see how he and Semen Daniliants might help each other improve in the (hopefully) coming years of competing against each other.

Now that the Seniors have completed their campaigns, it is time for the Juniors to do likewise. 21 girls (two groups of 5 girls; then a resurfacing; then another group of 5; and finally a group of 6); followed by a longer than usual break; and finally the 4 boys.

Due to breaking away for dinner, I am still with the Senior chaos, but I should be caught up by the start of Group 3.

Livestream for the Junior Ladies FS is now on air.

Oh Deniss :(

Now that I've reached him, I see what you mean!

That was a skate worthy of a 🌵 !

I wonder if this performance is the effects of spending so much time stuck at Frankfurt Airport catching up with him. Not being able to follow his normal pre-event routines.

It was fascinating listening in on Stéphane and Deniss afterwards. You wouldn't have been able to tell if there had been pictures with no sound, but Stéphane was angry. And Deniss didn't seem to know what went wrong.

I hope somebody is able to make a recording of the interaction before the stream goes private at the end of the broadcast.

He goes 3rd in the FS, and drops to 2nd overall.

So, Anna Levandi gets her second Men's victory of the day. But, this one is special because it's her son.

By the way, it was nice seeing three of the Cubs girls sitting with Anna and Arlet when he was waiting for his scores. But, it would have been fitting if the winner of the Men's competition had been there too.

Right, Warm-Up over. Time for me to watch the first Junior skater.

Typical!

For weeks I have been trying to remember the name and singer of a French song that a lot of the younger skaters have been doing their programmes to.

And when this segment started and the first girl on was skating to it, I thought "Finally! It is being skated to by a skater that is old enough to have an ISU Bio that I can check!"

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

Except, the ISU Bio for Alissa Margrethe TROXLER AARØE (NOR) is still showing her programmes from last season! :bang: :bang: :bang:

Well I see VV was very close to the TES but not quite and opened the stream just to notice Jari Kessler has exactly the same situation. So close but no.

DrV paid the price on the first combo when he had a little turn on the 3Lz. He got -1.18 GOE. Also later the 3S was shaky and he got -0.72 GOE.
A decent (+1 GOE) opening 3+2 would have got him over the line

I am now here to watch the final group because of the Finns here. So disaster start that it is hard to believe this is final group and she is crying.

Did Nina Petrokina take all the power off so rink monster wants to eat the local junior girls?

Not the note that I wanted to leave on.

:ghug:

I'll pause the stream, and hope that it survives long enough for me to watch the rest of the girls after eating. Unfortunately, I can't imagine that it will survive long enough to allow me to see the boys as well.

Three disasters in row from local girls. Sandra-Liisa looked like she was waiting just to her program to end, but then her 2-2-2 was clean and she got some power towards the end.

VV has been close in this season to reach the 64 more than once, but I think this is as far as he can get with his technical content. He skates clean only once in a blue moon and even then his jumps are not of a quality to get him more than 0-2. Was this competition the last possibility to get the technical score for WC?

Challenge cup next week. It maybe was a mistake to leave 4t off from his programs.

Phew! Just about got back here in time for the start of the Junior edition of the chaos category!

There's just the 4 of them. But, I'm going to continue with the girls.

Not the most difficult content from Matias Heinonen, but he has potential. I think he might will make it to national team next season, because I see a lot of development from him this season. Edit, I think it was first time for him to get 100+.
