That's by far the best I've seen Uliana do those programmes. There was more to them than just jumps this time. Skating skills and presentation do still need a fair bit of work for her to really do justice to her ability, but there has definitely been improvement there. So there are now three women with the Worlds CTES and five with the 4CC CTES. With Breken and Fee Ann competing at Trophy Metropole later this month, there could be seven women eligible for the 4CC spots at Nationals

Oh wow was not expecting that given her success with Scott Davis. But it makes sense, I guess at this elite level of skating, you will want to surround yourself with other similar level of skaters. So I guess reading this forum, Kaiya, Jia, and Hetty are all now skating with Brian Orser and his team.
Doesn't always work that way for Canadians. Remember Osmond's 1st year. The rules changed, and some of the rule changes I'm guessing at are based on the alternates list they published September 6. It's supposed to go in order now, so no more skipping over the first alternate if they're eligible for the assignment. They moved all the Singles Challenger medalists up if they were on it and had earned a higher SB there.
They haven't updated the published list since then, so if Fabbri/Ayer do get a second assignment, that would confirm it. But that all depends on where the process for the alternates is at for Skate America and NHK.

The thing is, even though the written rules have not changed (much) since then, they clearly have changed. Even the ISU's own replacement list is a confirmation of that.
But they are now at the top of the updated alternates list and the replacements went in order of the list prior to the update.

Congratulations to David Bondar for placing 3rd in his free skate today. He has improved so much since last year / since the summer! He looked quite confident and strong going into his jumps. Also kudos to Kara Yun - that was a fantastic short program. Of course, I think Kara was under marked on PCS. And I thought her 3Lz-3T looked really good too. Best of luck to her tomorrow - and of course Chloe and Brendan.

Does anyone know when Maddie Schizas 's next competition is? Idk if there are personal issues going on or if she needs to revamp and change her coaching team, but either way, hoping the best for her!

she's competing at Budapest Trophy this week, the next one is Skate Canada
Some of our Single skaters have been doing quite well except they seem to be getting a lot of q and under rotation calls compared to other skaters. To my eye a lot of them are uncalled for.
In regards to Maddie - she really needs to bring it at this competition. Skate Canada is getting close and at this point it looks like the 3 CAN ladies will be the bottom 3 unless they start to progress.

Yay! Roman! At least he has no excuse this season, in regards to skating opportunities.
Also, I’m glad Sara-Maude has another opportunity. Hopefully, this means Kaiya will get another Challenger, as she is also on National Team (As the Canadian National Champion).
I think she will, there's still Warsaw Cup and Golden Spin of Zagreb. Probably Aleksa as well since he only has a single GP too (in which case, they can tag Uliana along with him since they share a coach if they want to give her another Challenger since being on the National Team is not a requirement for a second.)
Lauriault/Le Gac haven't done a Challenger yet, Gogolev had to withdraw from his, so they're all due for one. I think Bashynska/Beaumont are getting a second since Nadiia posted on Instagram how Trophy Metropole would be their first Challenger of the season
I will be the first to admit I was wrong in thinking it wouldn't happen! But wow very short notice for them!
