Thank you. This answered and confirmed my medals question. Even though, I kind of assumed this is the case due to separate age categories.

Actually, making sure they (along with Ksenia) have access to as many international junior competitions as possible so long as it is not detrimental to their health is an answer. In this sport, visibility and experience in competing is invaluable. Very few have natural ability to shine in competition right away. So, Skate Canada sending out the same athletes with the same result is not a great answer. Seeing a lot of Canadian women get challengers this year was fantastic. Imo, they are finally on the right track and I really hope that we will see the next gen skating internationally a lot. They have to be poised to take over the way Shimada or Shin or Gladki are poised for their respective countries.
Same goes for junior men. Paradis could shine in solo ice dance (which imo will be a big thing) or synchro and moving him there would maximize his talents while give as many of the other junior men as much experience as possible. Imo, SkCan can't afford to support Paradis until they find a strong leading man even in juniors. Paradis would have been a great number 3, if they had 3 spots to fill. They don't need number 3. They need number one. Bondar' folded this season, but hopefully next is better.
Also, sad to hear that Ba/Be are heading for a split, but I hope they will reinvent themselves with new partners. Someone new and bright in the junior ice dance would be really wonderful next season. I am hoping to see Scott Moire's school to bring a fresh style.

I'm not sure if he could shine in synchro. I remember during commentary for Nationals (I think it was Nationals), they mentioned that it wasn't always easy for singles skaters to do well in synchro. They could have a great spiral, but if they couldn't match it with the rest of the team, it wouldn't look good.
Also, I think Anthony needs to have a personal connection to the programme/music to be at his best, and he would need to follow other people's choices if he did synchro. There isn't any scope for individuality or idiosyncrasies, which means he would need to cut out the qualities which currently make him stand out.

Anthony is definitely not going to do synchro... that's the last place I would see him 
Also, let's be real, yes he could do solo dance but come on, the guy does 3lz-3t, almost landed a 3axel.. he is committed to singles. He may not become a quadster, and that's fine... but i find it simplistic if not dismissive to imply that any skater who is not a jumping bean should quit the sport they love and have trained for, because fans don' t think a man should absolutely have a quad. Seriously. Let him be. When he is no longer eligible to skate juniors, if he doesn't have the required elements to be successful, Skate Canada will simply not assign him anywhere.. just like a guy like Bruce Waddel who is delightful to watch but not quite at the level where he can get assignments... Even a guy like Bennet Toman who had a steady and beautiful 3axel and some unsteady quads never got that many outings after junior years other than the North American challenger (ACI or the US equivalent)... and he was really nice to watch.
Can we enjoy what Anthony is bringing to the game right now, and not worry about the quads he may never get ?
I say this as a completely neutral fan. I have other faves but I am at least able to appreciate what he is doing with the sport. He is special and that's refreshing.

Which would be fine if Skate Canada assigned other junior men to competitions giving them experience or if he opened spots in juniors. Unlike junior women, junior men still don't have a long competing period in juniors on international level. Paradis has 2 more seasons, and with limited number of spots he would get most of them despite competing in seniors nationally, without the transfer into senior internationals. Or is it just one season left for him in juniors? ISU says he is born in March 2007 (or April, depending on how you read the date), so he should be 18 now. I mean, at the least, he would have to change his free skate for next year, I hope. Did he skate the same one for 2 years? 3 years? now? It seems that way.

Just be patient.
I went through the Junior Men/Women for where they are at for eligibility. Ice Dance and Pairs I'm skipping, I'll wait for the NextGen entry lists for them.

Lia & Ksenia were just as calm and collected as usual for them, another clean program each. Camila had an big step-out on the 2A, which seems to be a weaker jump for her - Axels are not for everyone, unfortunately.Novices competing this week

Rui and Ethan continue trading placements - Rui won October Sectionals & Skate Ontario, Ethan won November Sectionals & Challenge. Shame about the Lutz fall for Ethan, but he usually doesn't do a Lutz in the Short, it's not his most stable jump.Rui and Ethan are miles ahead and 1.2 after the SP
Hannah did great, she's been developing well this past year. Last season, she was unsuccessfully attempting 3T, 2A, 2Lz+2Lo layouts in the Short in pre-novices, then upgraded to 3S, 3T+2T, 2A at the start of the season, then 3Lz+2T, 3T, 2A and now 3Lz+2T, 3F, 2A - Wonderful job by her and her coaches.Hannah Quinn is 1st and a distant 3rd place for Ruel in the SP
Maelia, unfortunately, popped the planned 3Lz into a single, which doesn't count in the Short at the Advanced Novice level, but from what I can tell, this is the first time she landed a 3F in competition, so she still gets to celebrate that.

Also, forgot poor Uxia, who is all the way down in 14th after a disaster Short - Off-axis on the 3Lz resulting in a fall, off-axis on the planned 3F, falling after popping it into a double, which left her without a combination. The 2A was good, it just wasn't her day. May she have better luck in the Free.

I'm curious in what way you mean that Fiona 'is better than' Ben? It seems that after a difficult start they improved rapidly last year. Coming from singles, Fiona is still becoming comfortable in pairs, albeit she appears to have hit her stride. In their recent international comps, Fi/Ben performed well. They seem to be a good match with promising potential.
One thing I detect is that Fiona's charm and personality has appeared to enliven Ben and to bring out more expressiveness in his skating, which was not evident in his partnership with Brooke McIntosh. Otherwise, Ben has much more pairs experience than Fiona.
I don’t really follow the juniors too much at all other than a bit of pairs I have been hoping Jazmine and Kieran would be doing better by now. I don’t know if Jazmine will be able to land a throw etc. this may be the best she can do. I hope not though because they do look sharp together. Not sure about Ava and Jonathan. They work really hard etc but I don’t see a good match there. When they finish skating, he just skates off without waiting for her. Charley and Martina look like a match but since they haven’t skated much it’s hard to comment but they look like they could be good with new programs etc. surprised they got 3rdJunior Pairs
I’m was clapping so hard for Martina and Charly. I didn’t expect Canada to win a medal at Junior Worlds and we did it. Yay!!
Charly was so happy on the podium.
Also, my only negative comments on this event goes towards our other two pairs teams. I was sad for Ava. She was so hard on herself. Also, Yohnathan makes me nervous. He has this popular kid aura to him, that makes me nervous. Maybe, it is cause he is so handsome and I’m just reading too much into it. But, would be nice if he is more supportive towards Ava. Their side by side jumps were good. If it weren’t for the botched lift in the SP, they could have placed higher. Not sure who’s fault the lift in the SP was, but, I’m assuming it was him. So, him on the lift and her on the throw jumps, this was a missed opportunity for them and maybe that is why they were upset in the kiss n cry.
Now, for Jazmine and Kiernan. I watched that performance and it was glaring obvious how much better Kiernan is over Jazmine. After the first jumping pass, you can even tell that he is used to his partner screwing up the jumps half the time. He jumps and then looks at her, and then doesn’t even bother. Why didn’t they do a combo jump in their second jumping pass? I guess she screwed up there too, and couldn’t save the jumping pass with an axel combo anymore. Not sure. The problem with Jazmine is I think she recently picked up figure skating, compared to Kiernan, but, she has no solid 2A or triple jumps and this kind of limits them. I kind of feel like Kiernan could reach a higher potential with a different partner. But, if he has a special relationship with Jazmine or friendship with her, I respect that too. He is so supportive towards her and that was nice to see in the kiss n cry.
Our Junior Pairs boys overall seem to be more talented than the girlsSometimes, I wonder if they should start fresh with a new girls skater from Novice or Juniors that has at least two consistent triples (3T, 3S) and can do 2A 2A combos, as a bonus, just so they don’t have to stress about the jumps portion and maximize those points. It worked out well for Trentt with Lia. Also, Max with Deanna (a former singles skater) and Loucas with Kelly (who has a 3Lo).
Fiona is the senior pairs skater, where the opposite is true. She is much better than Benjamin. So, the dynamics in Pairs world is interesting to me.
Junior Girls
I was just happy to see Lulu back. She was only doing doubles a month or two ago. This was clearly a too little time to prepare situation. Also, I don’t think any other junior girl would have done any better. I did think to myself, that they should have sent Kaiya and Breken (our 4th and 5th place finishers from Nationals, still age eligible), but, Skate Canada has a system where they choose to give athletes with 3 or more junior eligible seasons more experience, and I support that decision. So, Lulu and Kara were the correct athletes. Kara’s combined Challenger and Nationals score was better than Uliana.
