There's something about watching a young man in a diaphanous blouse skate to Moonlight Sonata that makes me feel like I'm 57 again. This event really gets my juice flowing, and yes, it's prune juice.

This program is stunning - Minkyu brings a new level of refinement and elegance to this junior men's competition. His attention to the music and ability to emphasize every beat is remarkable for his age. He did so well to salvage a good landing on that 3A, but none of the jumps looked quite as effortless as they did last season - it wouldn't surprise me if he's growing. That combo spin with a well-done heel spin on the beat, and the sit twizzles in the steps... there are many senior men whose steps pale in comparison to Minkyu's.
