He has competed domestically as an Italian, but not internationally. Skate Canada does not release people for international events until 2 years after they last repped Canada if Skate Canada has sent them to an ISU championship.

No. The emphasis is the same on the An and the dree. It might be different in the US though -they have some pronounciations which are very strange to us!
