that was the issue... he was saying things like such and such skaters are so bad for the sport because it keeps away young (insert between the lines) straight men from wanting to participate.

Considering the number of men in quebec who do singles... maybe he did have a point... Most of our skaters do pairs/dance. At CQE or SGE, there are about 30 senior women competing for every man.

But yeah... i was furious and I cannot believe he is still allowed to commentate... I'd do a better job.

I don't even know where to start with that statement On the off chance that you do get the job, please pronounce skaters' names right, we can and will help

German guy definetly isn't like in the 90 in this meaning. In the 90 we had some great commentarors in polish tv who really knew a lot about the fs and they shared, just like this guy.

Sigh... maybe with experience will come the experience to know to not choose Experience, it's not a pleasant experience for us. Those three opening pops were rough, and will tank his BV. Fortunately, he didn't zayak, but at the cost of more BV with double combos. I think the program could be really strong for him, he has improved a lot in terms of performance, but tonight was not his night.

I think that's the reason they kept Alain Goldberg on French CBC. He knows the sport and its mechanics. When I was a kid, he did a segment where he was showing all the jumps and that's how I learned the different types of jumps and got interested into the sport.. He has contributed in vulgarizing the technical aspect... but yeah... he is very inappropriate in some of his banter.
