How come I haven't heard of Fedor before? Amazed that he has a quad and can do an amazing cantilever, lots of promising qualities!

You probably haven't heard of him because he was a nobody in Russia before he switched countries... Forgive me I am back on the grouch couch already just because

The german commentator is so different to Chris... he said: That was no figure skating but figure jumping and what he did the last 4 minutes was absolutely meaningless.. that was more than junior level what we saw in aesthetics...

The German commentators are useless. Seriously. Not that I'm a fan of Chris, but he's still better.

Davide Lewton Brain - it was already a success for an ''adopted Monegasque'' to reach the FS. He has some lovely qualities in his skating like his elegant carriage and flow.

Congratulations for him for making it and skating respectably.

I also hate this random order. The order of SP is not just easier to organize because needing no drawings, but it is audience friendly. I was already confused to see Ivan skate first before I realized it is the random order.

I checked on Chitipakhovian. He got a Master of Sports (Russian sports title) in 2021, so he must have switched to Armenia quite recently. That's probably why we've never seen him before.

I wouldn't say useless, that's not the right way to describe them. Weiss for example does know a lot about figure skating, but he's needlessly rude and heavily biased. Whenever I end up hearing his commentary, I find myself wanting to punch someone, and I'm not usually a violent person.

Vlasenko had both fabulous moments in this FS like his 3A+2A seq and some weak ones too.
