2024 Grand Prix de France Pairs Short Program

Not sure actually. But I think they've said in the past that the main problem right now are language skills...

Perhaps they should listen to some music to help them learn......

Yes, finally some Italians that really do skate it better! Now where's that sign when we need it?!?

Edit: Wait, what? They're not in first? I really thought they would win this segment..

...that camera work on the lift is a new low for the French GP (and that's saying something), I feel like I went to all of the bars that @balabam found in Angers
Choose your fighter:
1) Women's SP, moving away from a spinning skater to zoom into an audience member
2) Men's SP, skipping a skater's spin in its entirety to focus on a flag
3) Pair's SP, artfully zooming in on the lifted skater and fading out into the dismount, skipping half of the lift in the process

I think there was also a worthy moment in the RD but I can't remember for now

There's better German music :D (but also MUCH worse)

Not to go off track, but I've always loved the group Nena. I have their 4 CDs imported from Germany, plus some of Nena Kerner's solo stuff.

She did 3 shows in the US a number of years ago, I got to a meet and greet with her, she was very friendly to everyone, and her show was great!

How easy is it to get German citizenship? Can he get it in time for Milano?
Depends. Germany has an option for lowering the requirements to get citizenship if there is cause for "public interest". That's how Bruno Massot got his citizenship, I think.

If I remember correctly, the athlete in question would have to have resided in Germany for at least 3 years (instead of the usual 5 (or in the past 8) years) and pass both a language and naturalisation test like every other applicant.

She hasn't been particularly popular here since COVID where she said some questionable stuff
