The music for Nela ŠNEBERGEROVÁ (CZE) may have been a horror, but the skating wasn't.

I'm not a fan of horror films (I'm too squeemish), but I did really enjoy the music.

She was wearing gorgeous a deep red and black dress, with ragged edges.

She goes into the lead.

A very simple costume for Isabella NIEDERLEITNER (AUT). A white blouse, black skirt and black tights. But with a belt with a massive gold coloured bickle over the blouse.

I really liked the music. A medley of "Son Of Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield, and "You Never Can Tell" by Chuck Berry

And she was getting into it, adding choreographic moves that were typical of the era.

The skating was good.

Yes I enjoyed that.

She goes into 5th position.

Flora Marie SCHALLER (AUT). Gorgeous colour of a dress. But, perhaps there is not quite enough of it in the top half.

Birdsong at the start.

Florence And The Machine!!!

Don't know anything about the background of the song, but I am guessing it is from a film set in the jungle. Which kinda makes you wonder about the costume.

But, my goodness, the skating was good!

She goes into 2nd position.

Oh, I forgot that there were vocals.

First jump effortless.

Combination jump effortless.

But she really messed up the next spin and fell. And was looking lost for a while afterwards. Has she hurt her hand?

When she did get going again, she was straight back into her stride.

Next jump beautiful.

And so was the rest of the programme.

What on Earth happened?! Everything was sublime apart from that one element.

Well, she is enthusiastically waving at us with both hands, so she must be happy enough.

Her Mum is sitting with her, and they did that heart arm thing.

She got 3 cuddly toys.

And, somehow, she has taken a massive lead.

Vita KAS (SVN) skating to "Clair De Lune". No, it's that piece based on it that my girl Aleksandra Golovkina was skating to last season.

She is wearing a purple and white dress. But, too much white for me.

Not bad.

Awww. As well as a coach, she has two team-mates sitting with her.

She goes into 7th position.

When the music first started for Amélie Emma CEPLOVÁ (CZE), I thought it was "Vogue" by Madonna. But after a few notes, I realised it wasn't.

She is wearing an all black jumpsuit, but it has sparklies in a bra design.

Hang on, it IS "Vogue". But a VERY weird remix.

I enjoyed the skating, but not the music.

She goes into 8th position.

And I go and start eating during the resurfacing.

Tara PLAHUTAR (HRV) was wearing a black dress with sparklies.

Don't know what it was, but I really loved her music.

And although she had a fall, on the whole I enjoyed her programme.

She goes into 13th and last position.

Hanna Laura VIRANYI (HUN) is wearing a black dress with purple gloes and purple sparklies.

She was skating to "Big Spender", but I don't think it was Shirley Bassey. It was a bit tame.

Looked up her ISU Bio to find out the second song, which I didn't recognise. And I was right about "Big Spender". It was Peggy Lee's version.

The second song was "Good To Go" by LÒNIS and Daphne Willis. It didn't really fir with the first song.

But, she skated it well. And was getting into it.

She goes into 6th position.

Sara HÖFER (AUT) was wearing a red dress with a black patch on the front. It looks like she's spilt ink on the dress!

I knew I knew that voice! Christina Perri! Boys, it's been years since I heard of her. The song was "Human".

Not a bad skate.

She goes into 8th position

Szilvia Barbara FULOP (HUN) was wearing a dress which I did not like at all. It was mainly black, but at the skirt part it became blue and then white. It looked like it was one of those blue and white dreses, but somebody had emptied a tin of black paint over it. (Maybe they were listening to too much Rolling Stones...)

She was skating to Sia's cover of "California Dreaming".

Much as I love Sia, you can't beat The Mamas And The Papas.

The skating was good, though.

She goes into 10th position.

The dress that Marta BABIĆ (HRV) was wearing kinda gave away what the theme of her programme was going to be. It's so intricate that it would take all day to describe, so let's just say it was Middle Eastern.

So no prizes for guesing that I loved everything about the programme!

But it seems I am the only one. She goes into 17th and last position.

And team-mate Meri MARINAC has withdrawn, so that is the end of the competition.

Oh, and Meri's withdrawal also means that we have got through 3 competitions without a single "Voilà"!

Coldplay might be under the impression that nobody said it was easy, but Maksym PETRYCHENKO (AUT) made a good stab at proving them wrong.

I know. Bad pun.

He was wearing a white shirt and black trousers.

Yes, I enjoyed that.

Tobia OELLERER (AUT) was wearing a white shirt, grey trousers, and black waistcoat.

Not quite a waiter's costume, but not far off it.

Didn't know the song, "I Love Your Smile" by Charlie Winston, but I really enjoyed it!

Not sure whether the ending went to plan or not. It was one of those dubious things. If it was me, I would call him for a double hands down.

Otherwise, that was really good!

Hugo Willi HERRMANN (DEU) was wearing a maroon jumper with grey trousers.

"Music" by John Miles!!!

One handed cartwheel to take us into the upbeat part of the song.

I have to congratulate whoever edited the song. It could have ended up as a butcher's job, but the edits were so smooth that they were not noticible at all.

And the skating was so smooth too. I didn't notice any mistakes at all.

He goes into 2nd position. Only 0.65 points behind Maksym PETRYCHENKO (AUT).

Lev MYSHKOVETS (UKR) was wearing black trousers and an off-white shirt with a grey pattern on the back.

What a beautiful piece of music he is skating to! And what a beautiful skate to.

Unfortunately, he had a hand down. And he also finished after his music, so may get a deduction for that.

He goes into 4th position.

So we now have skaters originally from the same city topping and tailing the standings.

And to finish the day, we have the skater I am most familiar with in this field, Daniel RUIS (AUT).

He is wearing a black shirt and black trousers. But, his shirt isn't tucked in, so you can see a white vest sticking out from under it!

Skating to "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone. Don't know the song, so I was surprised when it came to life!

That was really good from Daniel. When the music came alive, so did he.

His sister and Pairs partner, Anna, was unfortunately last in the Advanced Novice SP earlier. Daniel won't be.

He goes into 3rd position.

My goodness, it is so close between the Top 4! Just 4.72 points covering them. Any of them are in with a shot of winning this.
