YES!
Maybe it was the colors I didn't like, or the design of the dress in general.
I always wear either skin color or black over the heel tights with dresses, depending on the dress color and music/program, but I can think of ways to make this really nice, maybe in colors we like more, or thinner stripe.... or maybe thinner stripes + stones/cristals?

I'm staying here, because I want to see the Gervits sisters. And I have no idea what stage of the day their competitions will be on!

As for Bulgaria, it'll hardly be a higher level, as it is the Chicks and Cubs skaters that are on today!

I am not familiar with the competition in Bulgaria, and I know our Israel Skating Federation is far away from being amongst the big federations worldwide, so I think any competition is higher level than ours

We now take a break from the Singles Skating for the only Pairs competition of the day. And because the Cup of Israel is only for Singles skaters, this is all about being crowned National Champions.

We continue with the partnership competitions, but move from Junior Pairs to a combined competition for the Ice Dancers. A group containing 1 Junior partnership and 2 Senior partnerships.

And whilst we already know the Junior champions, it is very close in Seniors

Wow! Now I understand why it is so close in Seniors.

I have never seen Shira ICHILOV / Dmitry Eyal KRAVCHENKO (HOL) before (they are a new partnership and all their international outings were at events where the stream was behind the paywall), but they were amazing!

The twins will have to be on top form if they want to hold onto their overnight lead and win the title!

Ahhhh ... this was nice! I confess I'm not interested in pairs, women singles only which is what I practice, but I enjoyed them. Like the music too.

Erm, I've wondered this all season, but I'm going to say it out loud now: what have those costumes got to do with the Romans?

If the TES box is anything to go by, the Nosovitsky twins have it in the bag.

But, I think I preferred ICHILOV / KRAVCHENKO.

Either way, it's a title for the host club.

Yep, the twins win both the Free and overall. In each case by about 10 points!

I thought it would be much closer than that.

We come back from the resurfacing, and by my reckoning it is just the Junior and Senior Singles Free Skate competitions left. But the question is, what order will they be in?

Well, the afternoon starts with the Junior girls. Two groups of 4 girls.

Can't comment much as I'm eating, but I'm not sure Chopin would like what was done to his music there...

And by sheer coincidence, Prelude in C Minor (which is what that music was based on) has been stuck in my head since last night. And I have no idea what put it there!

Anyway, Noa EVEN (KFA) goes into the lead of both FS and overall.

Ach, it's a pity that I have only seen Katya once this season so far, because I couldn't remember what her FS costume looks like. And because they were all going so fast when they were in camera shot during the Warm-Up, I couldn't work out which skater was her!

But, here she comes now to do her programme.

Actually, I don't think I have seen this programme before. That would explain why I couldn't pick her out in the Warm-Up.

Lovely combination to start with.

Bit shaky on the landing of the first part of the second combination jump, which sent the next part off.

But next two elements were good.

Ach, fall on the Triple Toe. But the combination spin that followed was good.

An abrupt stop and hand down on the Triple Salchow.

But, the rest of it was good after that.

Are they not going to show us her getting her scores?!

Finally! She seems absolutely delighted with her scores!

They are not quite the absolute PB's that she got the last time she was in Holon for the third round of the Cup Of Israel, but they are her second highest ever scores!



Into 2nd in the FS, and 1st overall.

It is beautiful music, and it is rare for a programme to it to not be beautiful.

I honestly don't understand why so many people complain whenever somebody skates to Muse, and in particular the "Exogenesis Symphony" (I never remember which part this is). I love it!!!

Now the music that her Holon club team-mate Anna SHENIUK is skating to now. That is a totally different matter. I HATE IT!!!

Despite the mistakes, Sophia goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

ME TOO!! Horrible!! What a lousy choice of music and why on earth would any coach choose this music is beyond me. There. I feel better now

Exogenesis is gorgeous and so is Muse. No matter how many skaters choose it, I never get tired of it. Maybe I will beg my coach next season to let me skate Exogenesis
