I thought Italian and Spanish stereotypes would be very different? Here in Korea, Italian stereotypes are pasta-loving, hand-gesturing, and flirty people while Spanish stereotypes are "Toreadors! Matadors! Fire and passionate romance!" people

The languages are actually quite similar when you hear them. I don't know about steroetypes, but one of my son's classmates has an italian father. He is a nomal guy who can speak Polish almost without accent

"Italian" characters in American sitcoms are loud, very flirty and outgoing.
Given that many Italians go to Spain on vacation (mostly seaside), we kinda transfer this stereotypes to Spaniards

Research shows that your accent is more decided by your peer group of friends than your family, so if he grew up in Poland I'd assume he wouldn't have much of an accent

He didn't moved here 10 years ago, beceuse his wife wanted to live nera her family but, they say polish and italian accent are quite similar.
