What a way to open, with the 3Lz-2Lo. Angel's loop and salchow jumps look pretty comfortable to my uneducated eye. She's admirably flexible in her spins as well. A good skate all round!

Really enjoyed the little details in the choreography in Lotta's skate - the two little balancé type steps, the twizzle after the 3Lo, the arm movements in the Ina Bauer during the choreo sequence. Her spins were all level 4 as well, I think!

It is interesting that other skater's coaches are with others. Viveca is with Matias but I think there has been mostly 1 coach/1 competition from Finland even when there are three skaters who have another coaches.

Aww, Lulu Lin is skating Canadian. And I managed to schedule a dental appointment at the most suspenseful point of competition.

I remember liking this Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon program, not the best day for jumps but she is still charming

Nice recovery from a rough start. At fourteen she is really learning to compete under pressure against her top peers. This hurts today but will be really helpful to remember how she turned things around in the later half of the program.

Nice program, even with the falls and a very beautiful tune ruined by vocals once again. I hope she cleans it up and shows a little more of her hidden dragon, then this could be really great.

Jumps might not all have been there for Lulu today, but she has good spins, and props to her for continuing to fight the whole way through. Her arms and hands were beautiful, and I was so impressed with how she committed to the details of the performance even when things weren't going as she wanted, like that little head lean during the choreo sequence.
