Jean Luc’s comments as to the skating skill levels of Davis/Smolkin are rather…pointed

Honestly, though, he is quite even handed, and no one yet has appeared to impress him

ETA: And if anyone has questions for Jean Luc—as well one might—he is apparently taking them on X, c/o US Figure Skating
He did seem to appreciate Fear/Gibson as being "the most professional" team there and seemed to enjoy them once they got into their groove outside of their official runthrough. But I do agree with your assessment that he was even-handed; always finding things to appreciate as well as things to constructively criticize. :)

Were Chock/Bates not at the practice or he just didn't deem them as professional as Fear/Gibson?

Does anyone have suggestions for the following situation. Tickets were transferred to me with a Ticketmaster link. They show up in a Safari page but do not show up in my account in the Ticketmaster App. Also in the Safari page they don't offer the option to download the ticket into my Apple Wallet. Any info about secret magic would be welcome.
Sorry to quote myself but some info that may be useful. I asked a man at the gate whether the barcode that showed in Safari but would not load into Apple Wallet would let me in tomorrow. He said it would and that they had no Apple Wallet reader so they will be relying on bar codes for admission.

Back from work, and though I obviously missed all of men and most of pairs, Jean Luc is still at it, and finally, Jean Luc is seeing someone whose skating skills he does praise—none other than Danny O’Shea.

High praise, I’d say :) This did not happen at all in the dance practice, FWIW.

What a great few hours!!
I’ve been painting the front porch all day but left the door open so I could pop back in often to check the action.. my black cat 🐈‍⬛ insisted on coming and going during the process and now has dark gray paws😼

(A bit of a derailment) I was lucky enough (and so excited) to sit in front of Danny's parents during today's practices. They were very nice and friendly.

Kévin marking his jumps, but oh those step sequences and transitions! Jackie said Kévin told him he was going to try to start having fun on the ice again:pray:
I thought even the step seq. and the choreo he is known for looked a bit lackluster today. He doesn't look like his head is in the game at all. But maybe he will look better tomorrow.

I admit, I left out some important context when I posted this. When he mentioned how professional they were, he mentioned it in regards to both their way of training for competitions as well as their way of knowing what they want to project to their audience.
