I think so. They appear tall and long-limbed making us forget they are fresh out of juniors. It will take them some time to develop their senior selves. I just wish them good health because their potential is very exciting.

It's more they haven't been skating together that long. Let's not forget they were second at Euros, too.

Fresh out of Juniors? Nastya barely even skated one full season as a Junior in her life. What makes them look Junior-ish is their packaging - The Free is better, but their other programs as a team so far were not of the quality expected from a highly-ranked Senior team.

I love Ellie's dress! It's so striking and elegant! This program is so wonderfully emotional, and plays so well to this team's strengths. The basic skating quality and transitional content is spectacular. The jumping elements didn't work out for them, but they also weren't a disaster, and they pulled in for everything. Danny is such a strong partner - they backload all three of their lifts, which is smart because they're their best element and also insane because pairs is so taxing. Despite the mistakes, they finished that program so strongly that you forgot all about the earlier mistakes.

I could watch Danny O'Shea skate pairs all day. Eliie is catching up. Shame about the errors, but their flow is getting better, and I love the lifts.

That was some gorgeous skating by Ellie and Danny! Been rooting for from the start. Easily the best transitions thus far. And they're getting closer on the jumps. Proud of them.

Good skate !! Some really unique difficult entries on the throws, that didn't really pay off today but they have a really nice presence on the ice. Especially Danny, he didn't stop smiling the entire program, that was cute ^^ Not my favourite version of Stand By Me, but it's still such a beautiful song. Well done to them !

this is a good LP for them... i liked it more than their SP though they were cleaner in the SP.
