Hope your home is okay. The outage because In house there's a system that if there's a earthquake over 7° Richter magnitude the energy is interrupted for safety
I know his personal choice is to not talk during a performance, and chooses that during his favourite category, the juniors. But I'm sure I read somewhere that he was told (by whom I don't know) to comment a bit for the seniors, so he does. With reluctance.I have a question. Ted does not talk during performances when he commentates JGP, is there a reason he comments senior GP during programs? I does not bother me, our own commentator is annoying talkative and anything is better, and I am happy this is not shown at national TV. I am just wondering.
Well I am first then.how so ? for once, the judging is not really something this thread is complaining about .
was checking it since an two hours ago and no damage, just the outage that won't let me watch the half of RD and half pairs. Here the construction are anti seismic and can even endure a 9° or 9,5° earthquakeHope your home is okay.
How would you have had it ?Poor judging![]()
Exactly. Too much of a chance for the pair to play safe and split the marks, with the weaker skater never intending to attempt the more difficult jump done by the stronger partner.I have a question : for SBS jumps, why isn't it judged separately for the two skaters like the elements in ice dance (so W2T + M3T for example) ? Wouldn't that be a bit more fair ?
Maybe it's to make sure skaters attempt the same jump rotation-wise and don't settle for "I'll do just a double for safety and you do the quad"... But still, it bugs me a bit
Thank you for the explanation ! I guess it makes sense thenExactly. Too much of a chance for the pair to play safe and split the marks, with the weaker skater never intending to attempt the more difficult jump done by the stronger partner.
His posture in the lifts bothered me. I wondered if he has some kind of back injury that he was favouring. In the side view, his spine was never straight.5. Maria PAVLOVA / Alexei SVIATCHENKO

This team just hasn't looked as pristine-clean on the technical as they did in seasons past. I quite like this program for them (aside from the voiceovers), and I think they do a good job performing it, but their levels especially on the death spiral have been hurting them all season and the lifts just looked more effortful than they did in the past. That, combined with some of the mistakes at the end, makes me wonder if there was perhaps some injury in the off-season or if they are just trying to peak later in the season.
Ellie and Danny were better. Though I disagree with the people sitting next to me that the judges are “anti American.”How would you have had it ?![]()
OK, I know I'm a stan, but this music...
where is Jason??? The decision is mine!
Like two of my uncles who lost bits of themselves in WW2. One brother lost an eye, the other lost his left hand and foot. They thought it was a hoot, when they both married and had families after the war, to dress as pirates when escorting their combined broods out on Hallowe'en.As someone who had to wear a medically prescribed eyepatch for the majority of the 1980s, I would like to see that in a skating pirate costume. Or a pegleg (which I thankfully have avoided so far).
Long Finnish word. lentokonesuihkuturbiinimoottoriapumekaanikkoaliupseerioppilas.I have both English and Finnish autocorrect settings on my phone. Sometimes when I write English and make no typos, it decides to change words to Finnish. And as some of you know, Finnish words can be long, so it takes time to correct.
See, I really didn't remeber what I predictedyou did very well...![]()

We get that in our apartment building also. A couple of very brief outages last week. Quakes are so common up and down the Pacific coast from Alaska straight down to South America. The outage because In house there's a system that if there's a earthquake over 7° Richter magnitude the energy is interrupted for safety

When I was there for Worlds, I took a lot of street name sign pictures because I couldn't believe how long the names were!![]()
