Day 2 consists of a triple-bill of girls; followed by a double-bill of chaos. And we start with the Advanced Novices finishing off their campaign. 29 girls, arranged into two groups of 7; followed by a resurfacing; followed by a group of 7; followed by a group of 8.

Venla won novice girls by almost 40 points. Looks she has long legs, so she may still grow a much and time shows how it goes. Her jumping technique looks good, if I know anything about it. Probably we will see her at JGP next season.

She is really a great talent. Her TES was almost 52 in Novice category, it´s almost the minimums for senior Worlds, but with fewer elements, and she is only 12 years. Hopefully we will see her in JGP next season, she could place well.

I watched her program and it was so great she had no doubt going into the jumps. She even jumped very close to the bords but with no issue.

Btw, during the skate I had the thought that she reminded me of a young Scherbakova!

I'm watching the MotoGP and F1 today, so there's not much point in me signing up for anything when I'm not actually watching it.

But, when yesterday's action was broadcast without anything like this, it does make you wonder if it being like this today is a mistake. Hopefully it will be archived in the clear, like yesterday's stream was.

I´m not logged in, but if I try to refresh the stream I sometimes get asked to log in. I just close the tab and try again with the link posted here, and it works without logging in.

Mmmm. That's interesting.

It sounds like it is clear in Norway, but elsewhere you have to log in. Because I have tried in three different browsers, using both the direct link and by clicking through from the event website, and every time it is coming up looking me to log in.

But, as I said, I'm watching other things today anyway.

Lotta almost was out from nationals because her first qualification was a disaster, the 2nd went a little bit better, not welll, but she got the spot and was finally 5th.

Quite surprising Pihla is the best Finn after SP, but she has often been better at SPs than frees. As she is 17, and has skated also at juniors this season, she maybe also one who will be sent to JGPs.

I hope there will more men next year. Probably may not those who are going to Worlds, but there are still others. My guess is Finnish men Arttu and Makar are probably preparing to matriculation exams in their studies, as some of those are hold during next two weeks at all schools in Finland. Otherwise I guess they would have been here.
