2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games | Jan 27 - Feb 1

I must see those first Canadian and that Chinese couples later. I am so looking forward to the Brits who were so promising last year. Nice to see another up and coming South Korean couple too.

It's only 12 couples - 10 between resurfacing is normal so it's only 2 extra routines. Probably will be fine especially since ice dancers don't use their toe picks as much.
I see, but it's also 1 extra warmup session.

I hope the final group will have no issues with the ice. Here they are warming up!

Thank you for all you do for GS.

Awww. Thank you so much for the kind words.

:thank:

But, I just discovered that I really messed things up with the Ephesus Cup today. I thought it started in 20 minutes time. It actually started 40 minutes ago!

That was why I decided to watch the Ice Dancing from the Youth Olympics live. Because I thought there was only a 10 minute overlap, and I would be able to pause the Ephesus Cup Ice Dancing and get caught up by the end of the resurfacing between the Junior Free Dance and the Senior Free Dance.

Oh well!

Sorry about your migraines @Ichatdelune. Hope you feel better soon. They can be so painful and debilitating. :ghug:
I'm going to take some Ibuprofen after the RD, thank you for your concern. But meanwhile I am going to be grouchy and not happy with the level of commentary

Ashlie's costume is... interesting.
It's very simple and doesn't look as "pretty" as your usual dresses but I think it actually captured the essence of the 80s better than most. She looks straight out of an 80s aerobic videos, complete with the big hair

Petra named-dropped the Kerrs!

Maybe all can be forgiven ;)

Just remember that the guy sitting next to her is Scottish. ;)

After talking so much about skating in Germany when Mayer / Calderari were on, Petra maybe felt she needed to balance things out so that Graham didn't feel left out.

Ha ha that reminds me, last week I was at the Australian Open and I went and saw a Junior match between an Aussie lad and a Korean lad. Somehow I ended up sitting in the Korean lad's cheer section, so they'd all be cheering their heads off while I'd be politely clapping and vice versa. :laugh2:

This couple is looking good!

See, Graham remembers the music he was listening to when he was growing up.

The reason Graham associates "I Love Rock And Roll" with the 70's is because it IS a 70's song. Joan Jett's version is a cover.

Here is the original version, from 1976:

The Arrows - "I Love Rock And Roll"
