Awww, poor Ashlie. It was so good apart from her fall.

Lovely seeing Atl giving her a hug to comfort her as soon as they finished.

She looked upset coming off the ice. But after getting a hug from the coach, she remembered that she is at an Olympics. And she cheered up.

Obviously they were disappointed with the score. But, they are happy to be there.

Into 7th. But barely 2 points behind 4th.

It's not over yet for them, or our predictions.

Too about the fall for the British couple - they have a great routine with some innovative elements like the lift. She just got her weight back trying to get to her feet out of the knee slide, and on dance blades there was no way to save it.

The girls are starting their campaign now. It was supposed to be 18 girls, arranged into a group of 6; followed by a resurfacing; folowed by two groups of 6. However, skater #5, my kid Stefania Yakovleva (CYP), has withdrawn. So there are now 5 skaters in Group 1

But, I am going to concentrate on the Ephesus Cup for the rest of the morning, and then catch up on the girls this afternoon. (That was always my plan. I was intending to pop in during the resurfacing after the Free Dance to watch Stefania LIVE but, alas, I don't need to do that now).
