Seriously though, I was thinking that since home-field advantage is a factor at the Olympics, it might be a factor at the Youth Olympics as well. 🙂 I wasn't thinking Hyungyeom would win a medal of any particular color, just that he would perform well for the home crowd. He definitely surpassed my expectations. 😁

A bit of struggle with the twizzles, and the entry into the dance spin. A lot of work to do to increase the difficulty of their transitions, and the distance between the partners in hold.

The juniors don't usually have much happening for 6 weeks after JGP finishes anyway, so this scheduling shouldn't be an issue.

Still means that they need to peak in November which can still be considered 'early'. But I got the impression that the YOG entries had to be submitted pretty early too, hence countries with late nationals have to pick based on the best they have at that moment.

@saine beat me to it... All Skate Canada had to do is take Challenge scores :) Not sure why they couldn't ;)
Also... well... I am just being super greedy but if Cinçon-Debout and Celestino had been sent, Skate Canada wouldn't release them early to skate for either France or the Philippines later on in their senior career... HA ! Sometimes, I am nice.. and sometimes I am just greedy :devil:

Big problems for Kravets on the twizzle sequence. I'm not sure if she'll get credit for anything, or whether it will just be base level. Good routine, but not the performance they were looking for.
