I was actually thinking the opposite.
To me, David S. has a lot of potential in pairs. Martina has her limits. But, the Bruno/Duhamel duo might make Martina raise her game.
I am not convinced of either

But that's fine. I understand why some would think the opposite of what I am thinking. However, I am glad that she is continuing. Julie probably advised her to go to Bruno's camp which I think is a great idea. To me, it's not clear what David S really wants to do. I don't get pairs boys vibe from him... but that's just me... I was getting them from Vladimir Furman for instance and he's learned the stuff so quickly.
If it's about the lack of triple jumps... well.. will Bruno fix that ? He has Jazzy he is working with for a while and it's hard for her too... I think, because of their great result at worlds last year, people tend to forget that Marly had only a couple events as he was sidelined with a shoulder injury... and that means that they couldn't do SBS jumps... together... Timing is so difficult for pairs... often, the skaters can land their jump alone... but put them together and it's not working out... Is it the case here ? I don't know. Did Martina suffer in her development because she was patiently waiting for Charly to heal ? I don't know.
But yeah, I think it would be better for her to have a skater who is stronger, who knows who to twist, lift and throw already.... so that this work is coming quicker together... and then, with that in bank, they can improve SBS jumps together.
For Charly, I wish maybe a younger partner with solid confidence and jumps as he is not the strongest guy out there and though I believe he has a good frame and will get stronger with time, right now, I am scared for his shoulder in some of the moves, most noticeably the twist.
