Nagoya Castle is a cool place! There's some small museums on the castle grounds as well as a teahouse, a place that sells kishimen noodles, and a reproduced room of the castle (which I didn't get to see due to the long line to get in). It also has samurai performances on the weekends (weather permitting)!

I don't think I'll be watching senior ice dance for the rest of this season, but I'm still here to see some young, starry-eyed juniors filled with dreams...*sigh*

That was a fun start from Dania MOUADEN / Theo BIGOT. Was that the worm I saw during their step sq? I liked their stationary lift too. I forgot that Jr RD started 10 mins earlier than last night but just made it in time.

That feeling when you're watching these juniors and realising they we be like 20 years too young to actually experience the 90s

Chase has a very nice expression while skating and he and Jasmine do look very practiced.

Back-to-back "Groove Is In The Heart"

It's getting to be like the old Compulsory Dance days, where you heard the same two or three pieces over and over again. And I am sure that is the last thing the ISU wanted when they started doing these decade themes.

I tell you, the choreographers for the Juniors and Seniors are not imaginative enough!

The irony is that we don't have this problem with the Pattern Dances at Novice level. The choreographers for the Novice Dancers are a lot more creative with their music choices.

I think I'm going to be up for a while; I had some green tea earlier and am quite excited by the results of the men's short program, which I just saw a little while ago!

Except this one is on steroids.

If the music doesn't fit the desired speed and tempo, use different music!

Ambre & Samuel have very strong edges and another worm! Strong expression from them as well. She reminds me of Emilia ZIngas a bit
