Health was one of the primary reasons so...

Also, I wonder if Stepanova/Bukin can last till 2030. The new IOC president voiced the sentiment in favor of inclusion all countries in sports, so unless ISU wants to continue to set up an ultra-complicated and pricey character review process in place for 2026, they will have to start thinking about ways of qualifying Rus for 2030 in a more streamlined way—and Stepanova/Bukin might pass it.

Khavronina/Narizhny have switched to Zhulin.

They won't surpass Kaganovskaya and Nekrasov. They are favoured by president of Russian skating federation.

K/N switched to represent Tamara Moskovina's club. A lot can be seen about getting the funding for these two not to mention Anton Sikharudzhe's own connections with Tamara

I saw that a couple of days ago Valeriy Angelopol confirmed officially that he is putting skating career on hold to pursue other interests and better mental health. Not surprising, probably better for everyone, but I will miss his dancing talent.

I can't say anything definite about the competition plans yet. We sent his MRI to a very good doctor in Germany. We will decide what to do based on the results. The knee isn't doing well.
