This is not a high bar. I am glad, however, that Shaidorov was judged fairly. But yes, if Shaidorov is champion, Gumennik should have been a solid 4th with Sato and Gogolev on the podium. The blending of criteria in the name of balanced skating was confusing. There is not equal fairness for all skaters, true!
and i would like to add 1 more thing, for me Petr's fp is better than
M. Shaidorov in term of storytelling and artistry.
No argument there. Forget Gumennik, they screw with the chances to get more participation. Olympics is a big competition, but it's not the only one.The "fans" who are on Twitter are doing Gumennik no favors as he will get the blame for the trolling. They need to find a new hobby.
Why shouldn't they troll when Petya get uninhibited hate anyway? Good thing that they can have some fun.The "fans" who are on Twitter are doing Gumennik no favors as he will get the blame for the trolling. They need to find a new hobby.
Because breaking rules brazenly plays into ISU narrative that they won't be able to ensure security at the events if AIN is allowed to skate in other competitions. Olympics is only one competition. Gumennik is only one skater. Neither single thing is worth losing sight of the big picture. Humble is the ticket. The needs of the many...Why shouldn't they troll when Petya get uninhibited hate anyway? Good thing that they can have some fun.
I don’t know all the facts. Like if he offered to pay Russian fed back for all it has given himI just realized if RusFed wasn't allowed to be feudal overlord, Popov might have skated in the Olympics for Aze, because Litvintzev seemed to have been injured. Effing RusFed and effing ISU for allowing RusFed to be a tyrant.
Wasn't Popov trying to switch to Uzbekistan, not Azerbaijan? Still, he certainly had every chance of placing high enough at the Olympic Qualifying event to make it to the Olympics.I just realized if RusFed wasn't allowed to be feudal overlord, Popov might have skated in the Olympics for Aze, because Litvintzev seemed to have been injured. Effing RusFed and effing ISU for allowing RusFed to be a tyrant.
