exactly... and this is why, since i was able to go to nationals this year, that i have followed so tightly the events. I don't promise I will do so next year, though Nationals may be in Ottawa (rumours) and I had fond memories of going there for Patrick's amazing Journey program back then. Only time I saw Patrick compete... (I have seen him in shows of course). That's also why I volunteered to run the Canadian Nationals threads, since I was going to be so involved. Maybe you or @saine can pick up the labour of love next yearMe too!! I’m excited. More excited about Nationals than 4CC and Worlds.
I guess when you follow all the sectional events and familiarize yourself with all the competitors, domestic events can be super exciting.
And thank you for all your help!Thank you so much for doing it @4everchan![]()
If they are in Ottawa I may consider going as I have family thereNationals may be in Ottawa (rumours)
Thanks so much for posting the event program - I enjoyed reading it.News Release:

He would have had a good chance of winning this year - depending on nerves.bring back conrad
That's a shame, but I am very glad he is being sensible. I care more about his career than about short-term success this season.Wesley has now withdrawn from Nationals.
OMG!Wesley has now withdrawn from Nationals.
I have not heard about his injury. Such bad timing. Get well soon!Considering his injury.
Wesley sustained an ankle injury in one of the official practices before GP China. That's why he WD just before the competition started there.I have not heard about his injury. Such bad timing. Get well soon!
Oh I probably heard it and forgot it.Wesley sustained an ankle injury in one of the official practices before GP China. That's why he WD just before the competition started there.
Wesley could still be in the selection pool for 4CC. Skate Canada confirmed to Robert Brodie that Lulu could still be selected for Junior Worlds. I think Skate Canada will want him there if he can recover by then since he has the Worlds minimums.OMG!
This is why I get nervous when I see new posts on this forum
Kind of expected though….
Considering his injury.
Now, Romsky and Aleksa are locks for 4CC. A battle between these two for Nationals and 4CC. Although, Aleksa has beaten Romsky twice this season, I feel the Skate Canada will send Romsky to Worlds if he beats Aleksa in either Nationals or 4CC, due to his potential. But, Aleksa so far, has the better record this season.
This opens the door for Matthew or Edrian….the higher finisher has a chance to get the last 4CC spot. A once in a lifetime opportunity for one of these two athletes.
Also, this basically locks Romsky, Aleksa, Stephen for host spots to Senior GP circuit for critical Olympic season.
Corey's SB is higher, but I think he's less consistent than the other Canadian men. He hasn't been close to repeating his score at Nepela, his second highest score this season is 204.10 from Tayside Trophy.Corey is starting to look like a loss as well. His SB is currently higher than that of any of the skaters representing Canada.
yes but also maybe notOMG!
