Really enjoy the exuberance of Jacob's skating style. Too bad about the mishaps/lower levels. Not convinced about this musical choice for the Olympic season.

This program is amazing. It's warhorse music but it fits perfectly for Jun, the build of the step sequence is so good and I love the choreo in it. He's had serious boot issues and had to WD from Nepela, and I'm assuming that's what has affected him here as well. He did a lot of single quads in practice, so I'm not sure why he tried for two quads in the short. No combo and an invalid jump element will tank his score, but he never let the program go.

Jun has had some masterpiece programs so it's hard to live up to that. I'm sure this one will grow on me as well. Awesome footwork. I'll assume the jump mistakes are early season form. Definitely want to see him peak at the Olympics.

Oh Jun. No!!!! No pops allowed! I love his skating, except for stalking the jumps. I think it throws off his timing. Love his speed and glide. No rushing allowed.
