A lot of jump errors from Leilah. She's better than that, but she seems to struggle to show it in international competitions.

Now that is the Leilah Patten that so impressed me when she was skating in Advanced Novices last season.

That is the best I have seen Leilah skate since she moved up to Juniors.



Oh, is she with Amodio now? I thought she was still with the Denkova-Staviski club.

She goes into 4th position.

I think so. Since Senior B's count for minimums, I would be very surprised if this doesn't.

It's too late for this year, but I think she can still apply for the higher level on our development team. Alice Smith is going to junior worlds for us.

That's what I thought. After all, it's now less than 2 weeks until Junior Worlds starts.

I hope it works out for Leilah. I took a real liking for her when she was skating in Novices. But, it has taken her a while to adjust to Juniors. So, I hope she continues like this for the rest of the season, and earns those opportunities. Because I feel she deserves them.

A lot of invalid jumps for Sophie Erhardt. I'm wondering if she was repeating them because of an injury. I'm not sure I saw a Lz at all?

It is very hard to keep track of what is going on with these livescoring pages. It takes ages for them to be updated (and even longer for the breakdown of the scores to filter in), and they don't even tell you the overall standings.

Inga. I love her dress and this program. Great skate in front of home crowd. Great 3A.

My goodness. The chanting and cheering for Inga is even louder than it was yesterday!

Well, she certainly gave the Georgian fans the great skate that they were looking.

New leader by a country mile.

Again, like yesterday, Inga and her coach looked miserable when the scores were announced. But, they both eventually cracked a smile.

I feel sorry for Leandra having to skate after her. Because with the amount of noise the audience is making, she'll know exactly what is going on. And it could put a lot of pressure on her.

Well, Leandra TZIMPOUKAKIS (CHE) put in a great skate as well. And at the end of the programme, there was nothing to separate her and Inga GURGENIDZE (GEO) in the TES box.

She went into 2nd position.

I know Inga is the home skater, but I thought it was a bit unfair the audience cheering when the scores came up and they realised Inga was still leading. And Leandra did seem annoyed at this. (I don't blame her!)

That said, there were a fair few cheers for Leandra during her programme. So, they did appreciate what she was doing.

That's tough for Elina with the crowd so behind Inge Gurgenidze. They could have at least applauded her score before screaming about Inge. Figure skating audiences are normally more supportive.

Awwww. Poor Elina GOIDINA (EST).

When the scores were announced and she went into 2nd position, the arena erupted celebrating Inga's win. And Elina was so upset at this reaction that she looked like she was starting to burst into tears when the camera left her to show the audience.

Elina put in a great skate. So it is a shame that this is what she will probably remember of ths event.

These are young girls, and Elina is the third youngest in the competition. Have a heart!
