Lots of tape on Jazmine's shoulder. Team still struggles with jumps. No points on death spiral... I'm thinking about how their coach said they bury the jumps so its not noticeable and I do think its smart for them. This team is so beautiful and I'm worried about them when they move to seniors full time. I have faith in them though they have a good coaching team

Disastrous skate for Jazzy and Kiki. Tape on her shoulder.
The twist was crashy
The 2axel sequence aborted after a rough landing on the first jump.
The throw Loop was good but not the salchow
Even the lifts are not as good as usual
RIP death spiral.
I love this team so that was heartbreaking to watch. They seemed to be keeping the performance going despite all of that but it's pretty hard to judge without music.
I don't know what score they need for 4CC minimums but I hope they get another outing no matter what.

Sound is back now.. that was a really sad reaction from Jazmine... aww.. they just need to focus on the final and junior worlds then, I don't think Canada will send them anywhere else for minimums

No 4CC minimums for Jazmine & Kieran, they missed them by 0.61 points

it will really depend on what is happening this weekend.
For instance, how are Secunda/Ferland doing ?
4CC seems like Kelly Ann and Loucas, and most likely Ava and Yoni. So there is just one spot. Perhaps reworking the program to add the third lift was difficult for them though they do excel with lifts.
In any case, this was hard to watch.

Well, honestly, without triple jumps, they should focus on juniors for another year. I really like this pair and in juniors, they are extremely competitive, but not yet in seniors. Of course, this program was so filled with errors... that death spiral was costly. So they may be frustrated because with just one of the many errors removed, one element done a bit better, they would have their score. But in the end, are they ready for seniors internationally ? I don't know.

Can you remind me when Skate Canada has scrambled for stuff like that ? I don't remember. They usually let it go don't they ?
Let's wait until K/E skate, they still need their minimums, and we don't need to jinx them! (39.25 for 4CC and 55.25 for worlds)

hehe.. I don't believe in jinxing skaters. I tried before and it didn't work
