Ok I managed to get it working using the same VPN but with Firefox and not Chrome

I run into this issue often
Clear your FOD cache
Change your VPN to a different location in Japan, if possible
Try a different browser. Sometimes it's easier to login on one browser over another after your cache is cleared
It may take several attempts but eventually you should be able to access the stream again

I'm also using VPN to log in FOD, but it's working fine for me. But I'll be traveling a little after about 3 hrs. So most like I won't be able to catch the later part of Jr. men's SP, and the beginning part of Jr. women's SP
