Why do I feel I have seen this dress before ?

It just feels like Ikura is never capable of showing the same type of skating outside of Japan as in Japan. This isn't even about scores, but about her actual ability to stay on her feet. I understand why she moved to Ice Dance and wish her much luck.

Ok.. the fake Chopin is now okay with me. She stuck to the e minor prelude "cover" and it's well-done, well-chosen for skating.

Also, Ikura is a gorgeous skater so it works. She's expressed the music very well.

Kushida….beautiful performance. She even made the elevator music work. Everything but the jumps worked and jumps are important.

Ikura already switched to ice dance mentality, she decided not to waste any second of her performance for the sake of silly jumps. Beautiful program, I'm happy she got the chance to say godbye to her JGP single era with this performance.

Who needs jumps when you can skate like that. She will go VERY far in ice dance. So beautiful.
