Started very strongly with the 3Lz, unfortunately, she couldn't carry that energy through the program. Kaydee does look very striking on the ice, long-limbed. Don't love Moulin Rouge for Juniors, but nobody listens anyway.

So sad for Kaylee, I really enjoyed her program yesterday and even today. Better luck with the jumps next time, and she had some real highlights with the first combo and the Euler combo - She actually has a good Euler, which I am very thankful for. Also love the outfit, very Chicago.

New dress, but established & well-loved program. Probably grew out of the other costume. Also, is that a bedazzled wrist brace? Decent skate, but she'll need to wrangle those pesky edge jumps into submission now that she's skating in Juniors and having to fill one more jump spot.

This felt somehow rushed, just overall uneasy. Her jumps are so good when she hits them, like the opening 2A+3T, but the take-offs felt slightly off in timing today, leading to a few wild axis moments and some tight landings. She did well to fight through this, no doubt, but I know she can do this even better. She just needs to stay calmer and believe in herself more, which is much easier said than done.

I adore her. Beautifully packaged (both in terms of her costuming, but also in terms of her choreography), expressive and a fighter. Her stamina gave out on her towards the end, but this will be absolutely showstopping later in the season.

not bad for KK who kept her firebird... but not enough probably for a jgp
I think she has a chance. If she places 6th (Lia is ineligible), they could give her the last JGP spot due to her silver at Junior Nationals.

However, I can also see skate Canada not give her a spot due to no 2A 3T or triple triple. KK needs to learn the 3T. Also, she needs to learn the 3Lo too. So, tough one. I might actually give two spots to Victoria now that I think about it….

without a 3t nor a 3l... she would need to learn a +eu+3s combo... not good

Her jumps are so good, so easy and confident. I'd like her to work a little bit more on her spins and her artistry, but this is complaining at a very high level for a skater literally just out of Novices.

The future is bright with very young skaters like Ksenia, Hannah and Uxia already showing this level at their first NextGen Competition. May they have long, injury-free careers and may we get to enjoy their skating for as long as possible.

I was thinking top 4 eligible, with the 5th spot held back for either the next in line or whoever does best in the previous JGP events.

ok.. i am watching volleyball, track and field and soon tennis at the same time as this.... of course, skating is the priority but you know... don't tell me multitasking is too hard lol
