2025 NextGen Competition | July 17-20

Petro's had some interesting music choices, I'm looking forward to seeing how he does as a Junior.

I think I won't be doing play-by-plays for the Jr men, maybe for a few, but not all.. Sorry if anyone was looking forward to them.
nah.. don't worry... thanks for making them earlier.

i am half conscious at this point... and my plan is to go to the gym as soon as this finishes... if i don't fall asleep

And here I am, planning on getting up early tomorrow to go on a run. I don't like the temperature forecast. I hate running when it's over 20°C, it's so much more exhausting.

Second skater in a row with a bright red face. I was worried about Petro in the short, but could see in close-up that it is sun/wind burn, not about-to-keel-over red. Not sure yet about Parker.
---------
Parker's comlexion is "normal" in the Kiss 'n Cry, so his was exertion, but he recovered quickly.

omg.. you would die here.... today and yesterday are the first two days it didn't go over 25 in recent days... first two days i am not using the A/C and have the patio door wide open... we have had many days in the 35-40 with humidity factor... it's hell...

i have a lot of students who are Europeans and they tell me : we moved to Canada being told it was cold...

:laugh2:

Oh, we've had plenty of days in the 35-40 degree range too, it was 35+ for five or so days three weeks ago, and 32°C today with a 73% humidity. I just go jogging early if the air has cooled off overnight on those days.

The problem is when it doesn't, then I either have to skip jogging or suffer. It's going to be 20°C at 8 in the morning already, so I'll probably just deal with it and run between 8 and 9 o'clock.

that's our issue... it doesn't cool off overnight... or not enough

that's why i swim/ go to the gym A/C) no point working out outside unless it's in the water :) but even then : Friday morning the water was warmer than the air and it was about 21 degrees outside. I jumped in and i was like ewwwwwwww

I don't like it over 20 degrees, either - but I am a Northerner. It is really humid here at the moment, and that is really exhausting me. I find it difficult to sleep when everything is soaked in a layer of sweat. We don't have air conditioning here - just in hospitals and larger shops.

Not a great jump day but yet another gorgeous program from David Howes, he has such good attention to the music and little choreographic details. There are a lot of senior men who wish they had this level of quality.
