Anna Dokukina's jumps are so big, and she did really well here. "Only" one 4T, but everything clean.

Yes, they can't. And with at least one, if not both, of them likely being on the Novice team next season, there are a few skaters born in the 2012/13 season who won't be able to ask for an exception to skate in Juniors early.

Well, two quads for Kitty, but two messy landings (on the second 4S and a 3F). Her layback spin is so pretty though.

Yea, I just realized this comp doesn't matter for the national team, but tbh, I can't think of any top girls other than Sonya and Zaikina who would potentially have to remain in novice for another season if they don't make the national team

Im very happy for Kitty, she has struggled for few season to find her footing and even if she wasn't perfect on the free this whole competition has been great for her.

Anna Dokukina IMO has to remain novice for the next season.
Missed most of the girls, but the boys are adorable.

In juniors, unlike seniors, there are no clear criteria, because several competitions including the Spartakid are taken into account. But I remember recently a boy was given a novice reserve for a silver.

When is older age nationals AKA true novice nationals? Its all Korcha's. Shes my fav.
Sharapova SP is so intense and engaging it feels like a good junior program. Awesome spins and flexibility, good levels... The FS overwhelmed her though still novice level.
No love for Evangelina in this thread... Sad. I though she flowed very well. Easily passes as a junior program and shes competing in younger age. I am interested to see her further.
Gudaeva nice FS she easily passes for as a good junior also the dress' colour scheme is beautiful.
Anashkina is really good. She flows like water I think they just need to quadruple down on her lyricism long term. TBH just send this girl to Eteri and forget.
Streltsova is a prodigious athlete she is going for junior gold next season. I still have Bazyluk as superior she thinks way quicker and her skating feels more effortless when its on. Also Streltsova is a very rare case where the FS is much more cohesive than the SP. The SP is not good at all IMO but the FS is nice. Her layback is incredible like someone else mentioned:
Eteri must be cooking something new because Korcha's flexibility is likewise stupendous. I like Korcha's spin the most its so aesthetic and unique, and passionate:
I notice the above back flexibility with Bazyluk too.
Korchazhnikova's SP is my favourite novice program by far. The technique is clearly not lagging either based on her FS just a little more stability and she will be golden. She is the most cohesive novice skater IMO. Her SP wouldn't be out of place in seniors. I enjoyed it so much even this time with the fall. Her skating reminds me a lot of Akateva but artistically she seems a lot more versatile and expressive. She has the natural dance talent/proprioception and emotional projection Akateva didn't. Very charismatic, natural performer character. I see Streltsova pretty even with Bazyluk artistically they both have fantastic energy but haven't had a chance to show lyricism yet. They're pretty standard. Korcha is far ahead of the pack in maturity. Its a tremendous shame she doesn't meet the age requirement for juniors. She would be my favourite in the category. Girl can pull off any style as long as they don't give her something prosaic or goofy I don't see a challenge for her artistically at all. Her spins are really so beautiful I think she is special.
Stotskaya has some issues sticking landings I think she will stabilize as she grows. She needs more strength. She should excel in juniors. I couldn't make it through her SP the music and outfit was too much for me.
Like I keep saying the head-start these new Eteri girls have is unprecedented.
P.S. who is "kitty" you guys keep speaking about?
P.P.S random question what is up with Koltsova does anybody know? I saw a recent performance of hers on one of these channels posting replays and she seems fine. Was she injured or sick during early season?

Kitty is Ekaterina Stotskaya. With there being two Katyas in the same age group (and even both from Team Tut), people started giving one of them a nickname (like the three Sofias ended up more often referred to as Kat, Samo and Mura) - Kitty is similar to Katya and she had a Cats program last season, so it was only a small leap to get to her nickname.
