The jumps weren't Dai's friend today but his deep edges were a joy to watch and on the bright side ... there were no pops & he bravely attempted one triple axel, he overtakes Circelli.

This is the most Lake Placid thing to ever happen (aside from Andrei Lutoi stealing a car and driving it drunk and then getting abandoned by the Russian team in jail), apparently the WiFi is down within the building as well and they may be resetting the entire network to try and fix the problem

He said it is up to the referees, but televisión rules all in the US. Including athlete health/safety.

men's is often so messy that it's entirely possible some of these mistakes might have happened organically anyway............ which is all the more reason to give them another warmup... why are we setting them up for even worse failure

I really liked Luc's Interstellar program but this is also very nice, he also has solid basic skating and some lovely choreographic touches throughout. The musicality of that outside edge where he's sinking down into the ice is sooo good. There were some tight jumps and a lot of GOE errors but he at least landed everything, I'm sure the delay affected him as well, he probably hadn't planned to take off his boots and then has almost 20 extra minutes to sit and be stressed and not be warming up.
