Really strong jumps from Misha, and he really engaged the crowd. I appreciate his commitment to the choreography in this program, he is really emphasizing every movement. He is losing so many points on spins and step levels, his skating skills are definitely a little rougher compared to the current leaders, and his quads are still a teensy bit tight on the landings, which will keep him close to Kazuki and Kevin. He has definitely improved as a performer and he'll be even better as he improves his facial expressions. If he had gotten level 4 on his spins and steps and not had that q, he would've been very close to breaking 100.

I will watch Kevin and Jason all day compared to the others. When will this sport give the components the full value they deserve? A well executed quad deserves a big score but the exemplary performance is given too little credit ! We should see more of a component gap between the mediocre and truly exceptional. Kevin deserves to be first and Jason should be ahead of Daniel.

He won't make it, even with Gold. But a good finish here will be wonderful.
