2025 Skate America Women's Free Skate

As they were signing off, Terry said "I'll be back with the "Glitter Twins!"

:laugh4:

Yikes - he looks radioactive

Would he stop telling people to 'make some noise'? I keep imagining the noises that - if they yelled that in Australia - would result and the aural image is not pretty.

Funny, hell yeah.

I hope Joey is happy with her GP debut, she has two very enjoyable programs and overall delivered pretty strongly. I really enjoy her knee slide in the choreo sequence and the straight-line portion of her step sequence - a nod from her choreographer Massimo Scali to ice dance. Her jump rotations look better in practice, which has been her major Achilles heel in the past few seasons. I think it's just competition nerves that are causing her to tense up and really UR during her programs. She'll get calls on every jumping pass here save her last 2A, which when combined with the +REP on the loop will really hurt her technical score.

Ted is way more enthused about Lake Placid scenery than the skating this weekend though he is saying the right things...
It must be nice for him, to rave about the scenery. A change of pace. And the Lake Placid village and area are absolutely gorgeous. Worth braving the snowy roads to get there (esp if you have experience driving on snow and ice)
