2025 U.S. Nationals: General Info and pre-game chat

I don't. However any streaming TV app that lets you access USA and NBC channels will work for the senior events.

The Junior events are only on Peacock.

Novice events are on YouTube.

This thread is a resource for times and ways to view.

I hope posters will describe their experiences there.

anyone know if there will be any streams available in europe??
Last year, those of us in the UK were able to access the a live version via a TV app. I'm hoping @Ruthypegs might be able to remember what it was. We were not able to access any replays, so late nights were required!

saine recently posted this in the Where Are You Watching thread:

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to this - I'm not at all knowledgeable on apps. Sorry I can't help, but I'll post on here if I do come across any information on apps, etc.

Any updates on our CA skaters' safety in the fires? I follow Tara Lipinski on Instagram, and her neighborhood is devastated (I didn't realize she lived in Pacific Palisades). California is a big state, but there are also the Santa Ana winds.

I just wonder if and how Nationals could be affected. I hope skaters can stay safe, first of all, and be able to come to Nationals still. I hope travel will be safe for them when the time comes.

Along with the winter weather in the east, 2025 has had quite the opening.

The only thing I've seen is a note from Ashley Wagner saying that Adam Rippon is okay and sheltering in place.

I live in Northern CA but have friends and relatives in the LA area. This climate change wildfires is pretty extensive its now impacted Sunset Blvd. There a lot of skaters who are set to compete at US Nationals train and live in LA so I hope everyone is safe and well.

I do, too.

I recently watched a video someone posted of the Vail Show, and she participated in it. Clearly something happened between skating in that show and announcing her withdrawal. Honestly, I was more shocked by this withdrawal than I was by Ava's.
I hope Claire is okay as well. Ava, Claire and no one has heard from Isabeau since her withdrawal from the rest of the GP.

Yes but quite a few of the skaters at Nationals are not on fan zone. There usually is a program for sale at the event, and a soft copy sometimes appears on line.

And yes. there is the media guide. I would think the soft copy of that would still be needed exactly because info on less prominent skaters can be needed,?

For example, Samuel Mindra and Emanuel Savary, and other skaters who had no international events and came up through sectionals.

You have a link to the 2024-5 media guide? Once upon a time we got a spiril bound copy for being a member Of Friends of Figure skating. Then we got a link to an on line version that your could also purchase as a book but it wasnt cheep. Then came the flip book online. Now, all I get is four editions of skating magazine. No calander even. No free ticket to the FOFS breakfast. Check out the FOFS donation requirements to be able to purchase a breakfast ticket on their website. :palmf: I am not feelin' the love here. I am glad my money is going to help young skaters....but I feel the idea of letting even $125 donners buy a breakfast ticket is not a bad idea. Now I dont even get a letter with a new membership card...and a link to the on line flip book...just the magazine....the magazine that they did a quote of mine.....
