Jason has not made an official statement.

If the rules permit him to petition and he feels he has resolved his issues, he will petition. That is not “unfair but abiding by the rules.

Jason has always been his own harshest critic, sometimes even when he didn’t deserve it, so I trust his judgment.

She made it sound like that. She said something along the lines that the men in the competition would be fighting for two spots (consensus that Ilia has the first spot), instead of one.

Implying that Jason is not petitioning for the second spot.
