2026 Canadian Nationals : Men's Long Program

The Canadian Davids continue to impress. David Howes was sublime earlier today, I love Davis Shteyngart's skating, his choreo is so unique and his jumps, when clean, are fantastic, and David Li just had the skate of his life as well. Now let's hope David Bondar does well!

He was crawling into that triple axel - but that was probably one of the best attempts I've seen for him. Have to see on the replay how close he got to rotating. I also think his other triples look much better today than the last couple times I've seen him. Landing edges are much stronger.

Bummer about the popping - all the landed jumps look really good.

Anthony was really focused jumps-wise today, showing off his great GOE quality on those elements. The 3A was a good attempt rotation-wise and he's been landing them in practice, so I don't mind him going for them in competition. Having watched Anthony skate for years, his jumps have gotten so much stronger technique-wise over the past few seasons and now he just needs to work on consistency, but I feel like he is making progress with every competition he does.
